Welcome To Creekside
Creekside Middle School is a beautiful school, and has a wonderful aesthetic surrounding it. It is filled with nice, friendly, and helpful people. The Performing Arts classes are amazing, and the schedule are block so you have more time to complete homework. There are three different teams in a grade, ever if you don’t get put on a team with your friends; you will almost always make different friends. There are a ton of after school activities, so if you don’t like sports you can always join one of the great clubs that meet after school. The schedule do get a little bit confusing on purple days or skinny days, which happen when you have a presentation project, or a guest speaker. You normally will only have four classes a day, but on purple days you will have all of your classes. The difference is that all of the classes are shortened, and you don’t get as much homework, because you only have one night to do it.

You are in Middle School now!Though it may be tough, the transition between Elementary and Middle School isn’t impossible. It is important to always know that your teachers expect a lot more from you now. Test and quizzes will be taken often, and studying is a must. Although teachers do recognize that you are going through a transition, after August, the real work comes. Missing work is not taken lightly by most teachers, so a good idea would be to manage your time. Don’t just go home and watch TV after school. Instead, do your homework and then watch TV as a reward for doing all of your hard work. Another tip is to not be a nuisance to your teachers. You are at Creekside for the next three years, assuming you don’t move. If you are a pain to the teacher, chances are that they are going to tell your teachers for seventh grade, and those teachers are going to tell your teachers for eighth grade, which will be able to tell your teachers for high school. The teacher chain is stronger than you think. Also, don’t annoy your teachers because they work hard to make you smarter!
