"Organization is the Key to Success"
Planners.
The creekside planner is a great way to get organized but if you’d like something more your type and custom there are plenty of cheap and cute planners out there.
Planners are useful because they can assure that you’ll never leave your books in your locker. You should keep writing down your planners at the end of every class and some teachers will give you time to do that. Then at the end of the day look at the homework you have and take home the supplies you need to complete it.
Planners will keep you and your teachers happy!
Lockers
Lockers can either make or break your middle school life. If they are organized and clean you will have a hassle-free passing period and more time to mingle with friends. If your locker is unorganized and messy you will spend your whole passing period struggling to open your locker and find the right books.
Your locker should be a representation of yourself. There are a lot of cute and cool accessories you can put in your locker such as, wallpaper, locker chandeliers, whiteboards, and whatever you feel is a representation of you. As long as it follows the guidelines that Creekside has set.
The are not to be misused in any way including:
Homework
Because of block schedule you might be tempted to leave your homework until the last night but it’s better to do it the first night you get it. Some people might even do it in Core Plus, which is a good idea but some people cannot focus with all those people in the class.

Setting Goals
It is very important to set goals for yourself. The reason being is because it's always ideal to keep improving. If you get a B on a test, set a goal to get an A on the next one. If you didn’t do your best at soccer practice this week, tell yourself you’ll practice and be the best next week. If you and your friend got in a fight today, set a goal to make up tomorrow. It’s all a matter of telling yourself what to do, and doing it.
